Philippinen – Sehenswürdigkeiten
Nachfolgend findest du Reiseberichte zu den beliebtesten Sehenswürdigkeiten, Inseln und Stränden auf den Philippinen.

Boracay Attractions – Everything About the Popular Holiday Island
Boracay in the Philippines is one of the country’s most popular island destinations. It’s easy to see why, as the island offers beautiful beaches with crystal-clear water and powder-white sand.
Boracay attracts travellers from all over the world and became so heavily visited that the island was temporarily closed for environmental rehabilitation. The “new” Boracay is now slightly calmer, and the legendary party scene is not as dominant as it once was.
Boracay also serves as an excellent base for island hopping, allowing you to discover nearby islands such as Carabao, Tablas and Romblon. Learn more about Boracay’s beaches, attractions and travel tips in our detailed Boracay travel guide.
Carabao Island Attractions – The Untouristed Sister Island of Boracay
Boracay is one of the Philippines’ most visited holiday destinations. If you’re looking to experience something away from the tourist crowds, then Carabao Island is worth considering. Despite being just a short boat ride from Boracay, the island remains largely untouched by tourism.
Here, you’ll find beautiful natural scenery, authentic island life and paradise beaches that you’ll often have almost entirely to yourself.
If you’re searching for a hidden gem in the Philippines, Carabao Island could be exactly what you’re looking for.

Palawan Attractions – Everything You Need to Know for Your Trip
Palawan was once considered a hidden gem in the Philippines. However, through social media and international travel coverage, the island has become one of the country’s biggest travel hotspots.
The days of quiet backpacker vibes are largely gone, as Palawan is now among the most visited destinations in the Philippines. That’s hardly surprising, as the island offers dramatic limestone formations, paradise beaches and excellent tourism infrastructure.
Palawan remains one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever visited, although increasingly shaped by mass tourism. Learn more about Palawan’s attractions, beaches and travel tips in our detailed travel guides.
El Nido Attractions – A Little Piece of Heaven on Earth
El Nido in Palawan is famous for its paradise beaches and extraordinary landscapes. Without doubt, El Nido is one of the most beautiful places on Earth, known especially for its island hopping tours to spectacular limestone formations, hidden lagoons and tropical beaches.
Visiting El Nido feels like stepping into another world. It could be the perfect tropical paradise, but places this beautiful rarely remain undiscovered for long.
Today, El Nido has become heavily influenced by mass tourism. Despite this, El Nido remains a destination well worth visiting. Learn more about El Nido’s beaches, attractions and travel tips in our detailed travel guide.

Port Barton Attractions – A Hidden Gem Awakening From Its Slumber
Similar to El Nido, Port Barton in Palawan was once considered a true hidden gem. Today, the small coastal town is growing steadily in popularity among travellers.
Like in El Nido, many of the region’s most beautiful attractions can only be reached by boat. While the scenery may be slightly less spectacular than El Nido, the destinations around Port Barton are still noticeably less crowded. However, it’s likely only a matter of time before mass tourism reaches Port Barton as well.
Learn more about Port Barton’s beaches, island hopping tours and travel tips in our detailed travel guide.
Romblon – A Hidden Gem in the Philippines
Romblon Island remains largely untouched by international tourism. While the island attracts some local visitors, you’ll rarely encounter many western tourists. This is quite surprising, especially as several western expats, mainly from Germany, Austria and Italy, have settled in the island’s main town.
Romblon is home to Bon Bon Beach, one of the most beautiful beaches I have ever visited. Beyond that, the island impresses with lush landscapes, beautiful scenery and a peaceful atmosphere.
Learn more about Romblon’s beaches, attractions and travel tips in our detailed travel guide.

Tablas Island – Another Hidden Gem in the Philippines
Tablas Island remains largely unknown among international travellers, giving the island a peaceful and relaxed atmosphere. Here, you’ll experience the authentic Philippines far away from mass tourism, where western visitors are still something of a curiosity.
Tablas impresses with kilometres of deserted beaches, lush rice fields and untouched natural landscapes. So far, Tablas Island has been my absolute favourite destination in the Philippines, and one I can highly recommend.
